   KekaneFarms is a Tourist Resort Place located in Village Bapvan, near Shrivardhan in Kokan. The Farm is developed on a sprawling area of 6 acres surrounded by lush greenery, water bodies and hills. Over 300 Trees have been planted in the Farm that portray different varieties of Coconuts, Alphonso Mangos, Jackfruit, Supari, Cashew Nuts, Popaya, Banana, Gwava, Amla, Kokam, etc.


   The Farm has 2 Borewells and an open Well for water resources with availability of sufficient natural water source.    The Farm Site is 4 kilometers from Shrivardhan, 12 Kilometers from Harihareshwar and 14 Kilometers from Diveagar. All these places are famous Tourist Destinations in Kokan. Government has given emphasis for Kokan Tourism Development and hence these place attain significant importance.


    The KekaneFarms is well connected by road from Mumbai, Pune, and Goa. It is around 155 kms from Pune via Mulshi Tamhini – Mangaon – Mhasala Road and 190 kms from Mumbai via Mumbai Goa Highway - Panvel – Pen – Mangaon – Mhasala Road. Kokan Railway is also available from Mumbai till Mangaon and ST Bus from Mangaon to Shivardhan.

ACCOMODATION FACILITIES

     The KekaneFarms provide accommodation for groups and families. The rooms are self-contained and well ventilated and there is enough space for children to play out. The Room Tariffs are reasonable and affordable for common tourists. The accommodation needs to be booked well in advance.


     KekaneFarms is the perfect place for Tourist wanting to visit Kokan, to experience Sea Beach splashing waves, gushing wind, hills and valleys, and most importantly, full of greenery everywhere. During rainy season, you can see vertical, incessant rains, number of water falls everywhere in Kokan with green peaks and valleys – the most wanted place for change and for unwinding those who are bored of city life. Nature has been magnanimous to shower bountiful rich life to Kokan and one must visit it to enjoy it more frequently.


      KekaneFarms situated on a large picturesque land in the lap of Hills and Slopes, is basically an Agro Tourism Center where Tourists visiting Kokan can take pleasure to experience village life along with sea beaches and abundant greenery.       The ideal visit should be for 3 days – one day for Shrivardhan Beach and Balaji Vishwanath Peshwa Smarak, 2nd Day for visiting Harihareshwar Mandir and Sea Beach and 3rd day can be a visit to Diveagar Beach and Ganesh Mandir. You can also keep one morning of these 3 days for Hill Side trekking which gives you complete joy and most wanted physical exercise in the lap of nature.


      Visit KekaneFarms with family members, friends and colleagues. The ideal season for Tourists visit is October to February and rainy season between July and August. Summer is a bit hot in Konkan.
